Nebraska sits at the geographic heart of the T&K expansion corridor — bordered by Iowa to the east, Missouri to the southeast, Colorado to the west, Wyoming and South Dakota to the north, and Kansas to the south. Every HVAC company, independent technician, and facility team in the state can access T&K's recovery program immediately. We deploy EPA-certified technicians, recover refrigerant, reclaim copper and silver, and pay you at current market rates.
EPA Section 608 Certification — federally required and valid in all 50 states. Covers all refrigerant recovery and handling. No state-by-state transfer needed.
Standard Handyman License — covers equipment removal, decommissioning, and materials recovery. Available in most states with minimal requirements.
No HVAC Contractor License needed for recovery, decommissioning, or recycling program work. The T&K national program is refrigerant recovery and material reclamation — not HVAC installation or service contracting.
Nebraska's commercial landscape is led by Omaha — a major insurance, finance, and corporate headquarters hub with a high concentration of commercial buildings, hotels, and facilities that generate significant HVAC equipment replacement volume. Lincoln's University of Nebraska system and growing tech sector add substantial campus and commercial facility opportunity. The state's agricultural processing and food manufacturing sectors operate large refrigeration systems year-round, making refrigerant recovery volumes consistent and high. Nebraska is also the geographic link between T&K's western expansion (Colorado, Wyoming) and the Midwest corridor (Iowa, Missouri, Illinois) — making it a natural regional coordination hub for route-based tech deployment.
Nebraska scrap metal dealers are regulated under Nebraska Revised Statute 69-2701 through 69-2709. Dealers must maintain a written or electronic transaction register including the seller's name, address, phone number, driver's license number, vehicle description and license plate, date and time of transaction, and a description and weight of the material purchased. Records must be retained for 2 years and be available for law enforcement inspection. Douglas County (Omaha) and Lancaster County (Lincoln) may have additional local registration requirements. T&K handles full state and local compliance for all Nebraska operations.
